About Glass Bid
Glass Bid is a subscription web application that connects glazing contractors with glass and glazing-material vendors. Contractors publish requests for quote for a project's glazing scope; subscribed vendors receive those requests and submit priced bids in response.

What we offer
Glass Bid is a software-as-a-service web application. There are no physical goods — nothing is shipped, and there is nothing to return. Two kinds of organization use it:
- Glazing contractors create requests for quote covering a project's glazing scope — plans, specs, bid packages, alternates, and the date pricing is needed by — and send them to the vendors they select. Contractor accounts are free.
- Vendors (glass fabricators, glazing-material suppliers, and similar) buy a subscription. It is the paid product on the platform, and it is what this website sells.
What a vendor subscription includes
- A listing in the vendor directory that contractors search when choosing who to invite.
- Delivery of requests for quote sent to your organization by contractors.
- The ability to submit priced bids in response to those requests.
- Unlimited members of your organization on one subscription.
- Email support (see Support).
Without an active subscription a vendor organization is hidden from the directory, receives no new requests, and cannot bid. Requests it already received stay readable. Pricing is on the Pricing page.
What we do not do
Glass Bid is a venue for exchanging requests and bids. We are not a party to any contract formed between a contractor and a vendor, we do not process payment between them, we do not guarantee the accuracy of any bid or specification posted by a user, and we do not act as a broker, agent, or surety for either side.
